"The IEEE VCIP 2026 Camera-Ready Papers Submission will close on 31 October 2026 11:59pm GMT+8 and Early Bird Registration will close on 07 November 2026 11:59pm GMT+8.

Best Paper Awards

We are thrilled to announce that multiple Best Paper and Best Student Paper awards will be given out to honor exceptional research.

IEEE TCSVT Fast Track

Selected high-quality VCIP 2026 papers will be invited to submit extended versions to a forthcoming IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems for Video Technology (TCSVT) Special Issue through a fast-track review process. Details will be announced soon.

Expert Tutorials Announced

VCIP 2026 will feature state-of-the-art tutorials by leading international experts. Tutorials are included with the main conference registration at no additional charge. Further information will be released and available on the Tutorials page.

About VCIP 2026

The IEEE International Conference on Visual Communications and Image Processing (VCIP) is one of the flagship conferences of the IEEE Circuits and Systems Society’s Visual Signal Processing and Communications Technical Committee. Since 1986, VCIP has served as a premier global forum for sharing advances in visual communication, image processing, and multimedia technologies.

VCIP 2026 will continue this legacy by providing a fertile environment for researchers, engineers, and practitioners from both academia and industry. The program will include oral presentations, poster sessions, plenary talks, special sessions, and tutorials, encouraging in-depth scientific exchange and collaboration.
