    VCIP 2026 Conference

The 2026 edition of the IEEE Visual Communications and Image Processing (VCIP) Conference will be held in Singapore during December 13–16, 2026. VCIP is one of the flagship conferences of the IEEE Circuits and Systems Society's Visual Signal Processing and Communications Technical Committee. Since 1986, VCIP has served as a premier forum for the exchange of fundamental and applied research in visual communications and image processing.

VCIP 2026 will provide an opportunity to present demos related to visual communications and image processing.

Demos are intended as real, practical, and interactive demonstrations of research ideas and scientific contributions, allowing researchers and practitioners to view and interact with implementations of recent research.

Areas of Interest

Demo submissions are encouraged in all areas related to visual communications and image processing, as described in the Call for Papers.

Submission Guidelines

Please submit your demo paper in IEEE Conference Proceedings format. The page limit for demo papers is two pages, excluding references. Demo papers will follow a single-blind review process and do not require anonymous submission.

Each demo submission should include a supplementary file, either in PowerPoint format (no more than 10 slides) or in video format (no longer than 3 minutes), showing what conference participants can actually experience in the demo. In addition, a one-page PDF file describing the demo configuration may be submitted if you have special technical or logistical requests.

Please bundle all files into a single ZIP archive before submitting. Your ZIP should contain:

  • Demo paper — PDF in IEEE Conference Proceedings format (max 2 pages, excluding references)
  • Supplementary file — PowerPoint (max 10 slides) or video (max 3 minutes)
  • Configuration PDF (optional) — one-page description of special technical or logistical requests

If your supplementary file is a video, please compress it to H.264 MP4 format before zipping to ensure your submission stays within the 100 MB upload limit.

Presentation and On-site Facilities

Accepted demonstrators will be provided with a table, a poster board, a power outlet, and shared wireless Internet access.

Presenters are expected to bring all other equipment required for their presentations, such as hardware, laptops, sensors, PCs, and related materials. If you have special requests, please let us know as early as possible, and we will do our best to accommodate them.
